Academics
Evaluations and Feedback
Collect concise course and teacher feedback from eligible enrolled students.
Eligibility rules
Evaluations open only for real academic history. A student can evaluate a section after the student is enrolled, at least one grade in that section is finalized, and an active evaluation window covers the academic cycle, course, or section.
| Requirement | What it protects |
|---|---|
| Enrolled student | Prevents feedback from students who did not take the class. |
| Assigned teacher for teacher feedback | Prevents rating unrelated teachers. |
| Finalized grade in the section | Collects feedback after meaningful course experience. |
| Active evaluation window | Keeps feedback inside the review period chosen by Admin or Sub Admin. |
Student workflow
- 1Open the Evaluations tab from the student portal.
- 2Review pending teacher and course evaluation cards.
- 3Select a 1-5 star rating.
- 4Add concise optional feedback if it helps explain the rating.
- 5Submit before the evaluation window closes.
Keep feedback useful
Feedback should describe what helped learning and what could improve. Inappropriate language is blocked before feedback is saved.
Visibility rules
| Feedback type | Who can see it | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Teacher feedback | The evaluated teacher, Admin, Sub Admin, and scoped Manager views. | Teacher feedback text is not shown to unrelated teachers or students. |
| Course feedback | Admin, Sub Admin, scoped Manager, and anonymized summary views where available. | Course feedback is anonymized outside management contexts. |
| Hidden feedback | Management users can review moderation status. | Hidden text is excluded from public or anonymized feedback lists. |
Admin and manager review
- Admin and Sub Admin users create evaluation windows by academic cycle, optionally narrowing to a course or section.
- Managers review feedback only inside their assigned and scoped academic sections.
- Evaluation lists can be filtered by cycle, course, section, teacher, rating, feedback presence, and visibility.
- Moderation hides or shows written feedback without changing the submitted rating.
