Academics
Gradebook
Review section grades, enter marks, use bulk grading, and understand grade visibility.
Grades page
The grades area helps teachers and admins find the right section and review assessment results. Students see their own grades from their portal.
- Teachers should select the correct section before entering marks.
- Students only see grades that belong to their own enrollments.
- Transcript calculations use finalized grades where required by the transcript flow.
Finalizing grades
Finalized grades are treated as ready for official transcript use. Review the student, assessment, marks, and feedback before finalizing.
| State | Student visibility | Can still change? | Used on transcript? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Draft | No | Yes | No |
| Published | Yes | Yes | No |
| Finalized | Yes | Usually no | Yes |
Bulk grading
Bulk grading lets a teacher enter marks for many students from one place. It is faster for classroom work, but the same grade rules still apply.
Check before saving
Review student names and marks before saving bulk grades. A zero is allowed, but any non-zero mark must follow the minimum grade rule.
- The selected section and assessment are correct
- Each mark belongs to the correct student row
- Zero grades are intentional
- Non-zero grades meet the minimum grade rule
- Feedback is suitable for students to see when grades are published
